Always on the lookout for novel coffees, we began exploring Nagaland in 2022 and were delighted to discover that the Land is a treasure trove of Organic Specialty Coffees. The plants are grown organically amidst forested environs by small-scale farmers. By sourcing amazing green beans from small farms and farmer cooperatives in these fairly unexplored regions, we help promote a sustainable livelihood for remote communities.
Notably distinct in aroma and flavours from South Indian Coffees, Nagaland Coffees represent a very exciting frontier and a truly enriching addition to the whole Indian Coffee Repertoire. India is definitely fortunate and blessed to have such diverse growing environments where coffee plants can uniquely adapt to and express themselves in myriad of ways.
