Khar - Nagaland Specialty Coffee

This Single Origin, Specialty Coffee has a floral aroma; lime, nutty & berry flavours; and woody & bittersweet aftertaste. It is roasted to a 'Full-City' Profile.

Khar is a village in the Mokokchung District in the Indian Northeast state of Nagaland. The coffee plants were established in 1980, at an elevation of 1,450 m. After a decade, they were left unattended due to political issues.

Thankfully, the plants were recultivated after some years, and harvesting is again done around November to December, or upto January. The cherries are processed as Washed Coffee.
